Parking & Transport

PARKING
There is NO parking at Port St. Pete. 

Please plan to park in the parking locations outlined below, and allow ample time for shuttle service between your parking location and the festival grounds. 

Handicap and general parking will be available for festival attendees at the following designated parking garages and lots with shuttle stops/loops. Parking is limited in these lots so please plan accordingly. 

South Core Parking Garage

East side of 2nd St just south of Central Ave (Baseball Shuttle stop location)

Sundial Parking Garage

West side of 1st St between the garage and the St. Pete Chamber of commerce building

USF St. Pete Parking Garage 

North side of 6th Ave S + 3rd St S (no shuttle stop) 

Handicap Parking 

USF lots 2 & 5

South side of 6th Ave S, between 3rd St and 1st st SE. 

Overflow handicap parking 

Albert Whitted Park

Handicap shuttle will run on a continuous loop to accommodate guests with mobility issues. 

PUBLIC TRANSIT
Attendees are highly encouraged to take advantage of the PSTA downtown trolley looper and other public transportation. Visit the PSTA website for schedule and routes.

RIDESHARE
Rideshare zone will be available for guests at approximately 5th Ave S. and 1st St. S.

CROSSBAY FERRY/DOWNTOWN LOOPER
Guests coming from Tampa are encouraged to take the Crossbay Ferry from downtown Tampa, then hop on the Downtown Looper to be transported directly from their dock to Port St. Pete. Visit The Looper Tall Ships site for schedule, map and routes.

Shuttle

Buses, Mini Buses and Trolleys will be providing a free shuttle to the Tall Ships event

Trolleys are equipped with a wheelchair lift.

Service Hours: 9:30am – 7:00pm

Service Frequency: Approximately every 10 minutes

FROM THE WEST (Tampa/North Hillsborough)

  • Take I-275 South
  • Follow I-275 South to 5th Ave S./Dali Blvd. in St. Petersburg
  • Follow 5th Ave S/Dali Blvd, 1st St S and 8th Ave SE to destination

FROM THE NORTH (Pinellas Park, Safety Harbor, Clearwater)

  • Take US19 South to I-275 South
  • Follow I-275 South to 5th Ave S./Dali Blvd. in St. Petersburg
  • Follow 5th Ave S/Dali Blvd, 1st St S and 8th Ave SE to destination

FROM THE SOUTH (Sarasota, Bradenton)

  • Take I75 or US 301 North to I-275
  • Take I-275 North across Skyway Bridge to 5th Ave S./Dali Blvd. in St. Petersburg
  • Follow 5th Ave S/Dali Blvd, 1st St S and 8th Ave SE to destination

Additional Information

Tall Ships St. Pete is designated as a National Event of Maritime Significance. Safety of our guests and visiting ships is our highest priority and we meet or exceed all safety guidelines set forth by federal, state and local organizations. 

Increased security procedures may result in slight delays while entering the festival grounds. As part of this process: 

  • All bags, backpacks and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering festival grounds.
  • All guests are subject to screening for prohibited items using hand-held metal detectors. 

The following items are not permitted:

  • Weapons, guns, knives or any other type of sharp objects
  • Disposable straws
  • Hard or soft coolers, luggage or bags with wheels 
  • Any hazardous items or materials 

Any item that security deems unsafe or inappropriate will not be allowed inside festival grounds. 

Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle to expedite your entry.
